Anja Dahle Øverbye (born 1981) is a comics artist, writer, and illustrator based in Oslo. She works extensively with pencil, a technique that often enhances the atmosphere in her books. Her work centers on human connections, exploring her characters’ personal journeys through universal themes. She also creates picture books with richer use of color, often employing watercolor and colored pencils. Whether aimed at children or adults, her books share a close, intimate focus.
