About Martin Hvattum
Martin Hvattum has been illustrating children’s books, comics and newspaper articles since 2013, after completing his education in illustration and fine arts from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. With a passion for visual communication and a broad appreciation for different mediums and visual languages, he lets the mood or narrative guide the tone of each project.
That said, words that describe his style could be immediate, playful, loose and handmade. His illustrations are created digitally, or using traditional techniques such as pencil, watercolor, gouache or ink.
