About Kaia Dahle Nyhus
Kaia Dahle Nyhus is a Norwegian illustrator and picture-book author born in 1990. Since her debut in 2011, she has illustrated over twenty books. Her expressive, stylized illustrations use simple shapes, patterns, and vibrant colors, often addressing serious themes like pornography, depression, and war. Notable titles include The World Said Yes! And Something Lost and Something Found. Nyhus has been nominated twice for the Nordic Council Children’s Literature Prize, in 2014 and 2025.
