About Bendik Kaltenborn

Bendik Kaltenborn (b.1980) is an Oslo based cartoonist and director. He’s perhaps most known for creating the visual style of disco wizard Todd Terje, as well as contributions and collaborations for The New Yorker, The Washington Post, Khruangbin, The Criterion Collection, Rick & Morty amongst others. He has illustrated two books written by Ingvild H. Rishøi (Brightly Shining), Pling i bollen and Borti natta, as well as a series of books by Anne B Ragde. His comics have been published in Norway, Spain, France, Sweden, Italy, Germany and in Canada and the US by renown publisher Drawn & Quarterly. His style ranges from analogue ink and watercolor to digital artwork created on iPad and Wacom. He fulfilled a PhD in illustration and design at The Norwegian Academy of the Arts in 2022.
