Åshild Irgens

About Åshild
Åshild lives and works in Oslo and has always drawn.
She focuses on creating vivid drawings and characters that have a distinctive look and personality. The technique is analog pencil drawing that is scanned, processed and colored digitally.
Stylistically, the expression is friendly and often not too detailed, with the main emphasis on the characters and the line-work. The way she draws is often loose and spontaneous to create visual life. The method is to immerse yourself in the characters’ actions and personality, like a method actor.
