Per Dybvig

About Per Dybvig
Per Dybvig’s drawing style is distinctive, with a direct, quick, and spontaneous expression marked by precision with pencil on paper. With warmth, humor, and sensitivity, the characters are often animals or fables that balance on an existential verge between the real and the imaginary. Having worked with illustration since the 80s, he has collaborated with authors such as Jo Nesbø, Ingvar Ambjørnsen, and Bjørn Rørvik for decades. Dybvig has also made a series of his own picture books for adults, and in 2024, he published his first children’s book as both author and illustrator with De Står i Kø.
