About Kjersti Synneva Moen

Kjersti Synneva Moen (b. 1995) is a comic book artist and illustrator whose work has a rough, naïve expression, with both humor and melancholy side by side. Her illustrations are also defined by distinctive, playful character designs, and themes of curiosity and emotional safety. While she completes her artworks digitally in Procreate, she brings in warmth and texture from her sketchbooks and watercolor practice. A graduate of Einar Granum School of Fine Art (2019), she is the author of two acclaimed books exploring friendship, first love, and the search for one’s place when life takes unexpected turns.
