About Bjørn Ousland
Bjørn Ousland was born 1959 in Oslo and educated at The Kubert School, New Jersey USA. He has been working as an illustrator and cartoonist since 1985. From around 2000 he predominately is writing and illustrating children´s books and comics for kids. He used to work mostly with a mix of watercolors, colored pencils and pastels, but in the recent years he switched to working with pencils on paper and adding colors and textures in Photoshop. Most of his fictional work involves a mix of humor and suspense. He also made a series of illustrated non-fiction books about polar explorers, which was translated into 12 languages.
