About Øyvind Torseter
Øyvind Torseter (b. 1972) has illustrated and written several critically acclaimed and award-winning books. He has received numerous awards, including the Bologna Ragazzi Award, Prix Jeune Albert and Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis. His books have been translated into over 20 languages. Torseter works with both traditional and digital picture techniques. He also experiments with three-dimensional paper clips. The pictures in his books can be illustrations to the text, but also play and experiment with free drawings which contain details and stories with opportunities for exploration.
