About Trude Tjensvold
Trude Tjensvold earned her art degree from Chelsea College of art and design in London and has since worked as an illustrator and fine artist. She published her first picture book as an author in 2016. Since then, she has written and illustrated several picture books, a graphic novel for young adults and illustrated novels.
Tjensvold works within a broad range of techniques. Often, she uses manual tools, like acrylic paint or pencil drawing. Other times she uses mixed media or digital collages. But handcraft is always the foundation of her work.
