About Inga Husby Sætre
Inga Husby Sætre is a cartoonist, writer, illustrator, animator and screenwriter. She is focussing a lot on text, meaning and storytelling, together with and in the visual story. Her characters are very important to her, and she tries to make them alive and interesting. She is drawing mostly with graphite pencils on paper, but also ink and aquarelle, permanent pencils and oil pastels.
She is particularly concerned with portraying emotions, real people and relationships, often with dark or silly humor and a desire to tell something important in a believable way. She wants her stories to start thoughts, insights and conversations.
